This slower paced class is perfect if you’ve never tried yoga or if you are new to your practice. The ideal balance of flow, stretch and breath.
Stretch and strengthen
This class not only strengthens and tones but includes a deep stretch that is mixed with traditional yoga poses.
A flowing practice connecting breath and movement. With options to challenge yourself or move a little more therapeutically.
A 45 minute quick, efficient class. Strengthening, stretching, and breath work provide a welcome mid day pause to your work day.
This is a safe and gentle class. In this hour, we’ll focus on combining your breath with movement. Participants can expect to feel more mobility and flexibility in the neck, spine, and hips. Wrapping up each class is a meditation to bring you into a deep state of relaxation.
Deep Stretch is a slower class that is accessible to everyone – no experience or flexibility required. If you have ever thought “I’m not flexible enough to do yoga” this class is for you. We will hold poses for longer periods of time, while focusing on the breath, to give the body and mind time to relax and open. We will use props to help us move into the postures and allow us to experiment with going deeper. Whether your goal is to loosen tight muscles from running, be able to play on the floor with your grandchildren, or simply touch your toes, this is the class for you!
Mindful Vinyasa Flow
The Mindful Vinyasa Flow class will warm you up, stretch you out, and strengthen your spirit, mind, and body. Poses are held anywhere from 3-5 breaths, providing the opportunity to explore the shape, how it feels in your body, and to work with settling your mind. All movement is encouraged to link with the flow of your breath with emphasis on the breath. Yoga philosophy as well as concepts will be introduced and explored throughout class. This class is done with music and can be rigorous while you’ll practice being present to your experience. There’s an optional open-meditation practice after class. Participants are welcome to sit for any portion of the meditation, even if that’s for only five minutes; your schedule is respected. Seated meditation may last for up to 20 minutes but not longer.
Align and explore
This class provides an alignment-based focus infused with the freedom to explore variations in poses. Good for beginners and those looking to deepen their understanding of poses, the environment of this class is lighthearted and up-lifting.
